About the show

​

With the mobile stage, our aim is to open boundaries between audience, environment and performers. We build a classical theatre and make the theatre space transparent with it.

The surroundings become part of the scenography, and the audience is allowed to experience the performance in the midst of what is happening. We open the scene to the audience.

We have a passion for making the infinite connection between the vastness of the cosmos and the detail of the origin of life tangible.

About the company

Maja Zimmerlin

​

Maja Zimmerlin is a choreographer, award-winning dance film director and mother of three children.

​

Since 2020 she has been living in Berlin, where she received research grants during the Corona period.

Since 2015 she has been initiating her own pieces at the intersection of dance, music, acrobatics and film, which have been presented internationally.

 

Since 2022 she has been a permanent member of Isabelle Schad’s mobile ensemble as a dancer, with which she has appeared in four performances.

As a coach she supports dancers and choreographers in the production of dance films.

Umberto Freddi

 

“I draw. Some drawings live on paper.

Some transform into physical reality in the form of architecture or design.

Others become physical elements in physical spaces in the form of installations.

Drawing is the medium with which I bring the world of feelings, thoughts and fantasies into the world of reality”.

​​

After completing his studies in “Architectural Engineering” at the University of Bologna in 2000, he began working in the field of design.

Parallel and complementary to his work in architectural design, artistic practice is an essential and inseparable part of his professional life. Since 2016 he has been living in Berlin, where he works as a visual artist and designer for architecture in Europe and abroad.
